“Motivation is the catalyzing ingredient for every successful innovation. The same is true for learning.” -Clayton Christensen
Welcome to BT Labs!! This is a graduate educational technology research project. The goal is to explore distributed learning systems for STEM teaching learning. There is a little STEAM here, too.
(Yes, expect a lot of thermodynamics puns. You have been warned.)
The labs are divided into areas of focus.
The STEM Lab focuses on using distributed technology in self-regulated learning, as well as in organized distance learning activities.
The Instruction Support Lab focuses helping educators build meaningful experiences in open network learning environments.
The Accessibility Lab focuses on making small changes to popular platforms to create big impacts on all learners.

The Math Teaching and Learning Lab focuses helping on developing better understanding of standardized learning goals and real-world math applications.
The Language Learning Lab focuses on developing tools for second-language acquisiton.
These are experiments that have graduated from BT Labs, and gone on to bigger and better things.
